CommandCenter

The CommandCenter is the central information system used on all John Deere 8030 Series Wheel and Track Tractors. The CommandCenter allows the operator to program various settings and tailor the readings that are helpful to a specific operation. The CommandCenter puts more information at your fingertips than ever has been possible on 8000 Series Tractors. The information is available on all models and does not require the purchase of additional monitors.



The center display is divided into two parts and allows you to choose the information you would like to monitor. The top half of the display monitors one of four "constant" functions. They are are: Percent Slip, Engine Hours, PTO Speed, and Clock. Choose the “constant” function you want displayed by pushing on one of the coordinating switches. The touch switches are directly below the display (left arrow). They function as a “shortcut” to information that is shown in the top half of the display. With each of the "constant" machine functions, you may choose another “selected” tractor function to show in the lower half of the display screen. By turning the selector knob (right side arrow) you can choose from the list below.



Note: Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVTTM ) display is shown above. Not shown is the PowerShift Transmission (PST) display, which would include the Automatic PowerShift (APS) control. The control is located above the Implement Management selector buttons.

Note: For percent slip and hitch slip command to function, Optional Radar Sensor, Code 9023, is required.



The CommandCenter also allows the operator to change or adjust other general machine functions, such as:

* Day backlight
* Night backlight
* Rear PTO engage modulation rate to start implements, with three levels
* Implement in operation input selection, i.e. whisker switch, SCV, or hitch
* Hitch slip command response (sensitivity)
* Units US or metric
* Language
* Settings for IVT: mode adjustments for rpm, reverse/forward ratio, on IVT
* Settings for PST: s tart up gear default, APS shift point
* Clock
* Service intervals
* Diagnostic codes
* Auto-shift



The CommandCenter adds another exciting and powerful tool to the 8030 Series Tractor and is base equipment on all models.
